This role is part of the controlling team at cosnova. In this role, you should not only create management reports and carry out budget planning, but also influence and control active decisions in the company with your analyses. You should develop insights into the business from the financial and market data and proactively communicate this with recommendations for action to the management. You will be a business partner on an equal footing for other departments and be willing to take on cross-controlling tasks. Current processes should also be questioned and presented for improvement.
 

Your responsibilities:

  • Business partner for the Sales departments and the Chief Sales Officer
  • Regular creation of management reports and profitability calculations for the management
  • Leadership of the Sales Budget and Estimate process for your respective regions and customers
  • Independent preparation of deviation analysis including recommendations for action to improve Sales and Profit
  • Active participation in the monthly/annual financial statements (HGB and IFRS) as well as in budget and forecast processes
  • Further development of management reports, e.g. in the direction of dashboards/cockpits and optimization of internal analyses
  • Participation in internal projects (e.g. further development of own IT systems) as well as in the creation of ad-hoc analysis

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration/economics or comparable business qualification
  • Min. 3-5 years of professional experience in the controlling area
  • Industry experience in the consumer goods environment is an advantage (FMCG)
  • High level of analytical competence and process understanding with the drive to constantly improve existing analysis and to break new ground in the process
  • Structured, independent working methods, initiative and a sense of responsibility
  • Openness to new topics and projects
  • Communication skills and assertiveness
  • Distinctive ability to work in a team
  • Fluent, very good spoken and written English is essential within the team and the international structure
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. Good knowledge of SAP and BI (e.g. Infor BI and/or Tableau) is advantageous
