Responsibilities:

  • Technical leadership, coaching and mentoring of a frontend development team with 5-8 developers (internal & external)
  • Further development of the team from a professional point of view and constant improvement of the working methods used
  • Expansion of the technical architecture of the frontend to achieve strategic corporate goals
  • Close cooperation in an agile team of developers, SRE and Product Owners to further develop and improve our digital platform
  • Creative solution finding and control of the corresponding implementation
  • Hands-on full stack development with a focus on web services/e-commerce

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science (Bachelor or higher) or comparable
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in full stack development in the field of web applications or apps
  • At least 1 year experience as Lead Developer or compareable
  • Wide range of experience in the areas of WebServices (JSON, REST, Typescript and SCSS/SASS)
  • Able to write integrated Kafka-Redis applications in Golang
  • Knowledge of microservices, Docker and Kubernetes
  • You attach great importance to performance and quality - debugging and testing the code are part of your daily routine
  • Strong conceptual, creative thinking
  • Focus on knowledge building, knowledge transfer and professional support of the team
  • Very good knowledge of English. German is a plus
