Your job:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
- Responsibility for the group’s cash management, including cash forecasting and the administrative aspects of payment transactions
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and legal review of business transactions
- Implementation and operational support of a cash pooling system for the group
- Administration and further development of the banking tool, including migration to ISO 20022 standards
- Participation in projects related to the design and improvement of internal processes, and the ongoing development of accounting guidelines for the group
- Acting as a subject-matter expert and point of contact for colleagues from other departments
- Serving as an interface to internal and external partners (auditors, consultants)
Your profile:
- A qualification as a certified international accountant or an equivalent certification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in general ledger accounting, preferably in the consumer goods industry
- Knowledge and experience in payment transactions, with a willingness to further develop in this area
- Confident in preparing financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
- Strong analytical skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Solid proficiency in Excel and SAP (modules FI/CO)
- Fluency in German, good command of English is essential in our international environment; additional languages are an advantage
