How can I submit my application documents to cosnova?

May you please apply solely via our online application portal on our careers page. At the end of the short form, you can upload your documents ideally summarized in a PDF file (max. 15 MB).
 

Do I need a cover letter?

We do not require a cover letter, but it can be a useful addition to your resume. For example, if you have little work experience, a cover letter will give your application a personal touch. In the cover letter, we would like to read what excites you about working at cosnova and why you are applying for the position.
 

In which language should the application be?

You are more than welcome to write your application in German. If you do not speak German or if a position is only advertised in English, we will be delighted to receive your application in English.
 

Which requirements do I have to meet as an applicant?

We have selection criteria that are based on the requirements of the respective position. Our positions are managed by different HR managers. In order to ensure fast and uncomplicated processing, may you please submit your complete documents separately for each position. If we think other job offers match your profile, we will also suggest them to you.
 

Can I also apply directly via email?

We kindly ask you to submit your application exclusively via our online application portal. This ensures a quicker and clearer process for all parties involved.
 

I cannot find a suitable position. Can I also submit an unsolicited application?

You can always send us an unsolicited application via our online application portal. When submitting your unsolicited application, please be sure to let us know which area or possible positions you are interested in. 
 

Who can I contact with questions via phone?

Our HR team will be pleased to help you with job-specific as well as application-specific questions. You will find the contact details of the responsible HR manager at the end of each job advertisement.
 

When can I expect feedback on my application?

You will receive a confirmation of receipt of your online application within a few minutes. The further processing time cannot be determined exactly, as various people are involved in the decision-making process. Of course, our goal is to process your application as quickly as possible. Sometimes, however, there may be delays - for example, if a colleague is on vacation. As soon as there is news, we will inform you immediately. You can also inquire about the status of your application at any time.
 

How does the application process work?

We make a pre-selection of suitable candidates from all applications received. These candidates are contacted by us and invited to a first interview. The first interview will primarily take place virtually via MS Teams. We will send you the technical details with the invitation confirmation, as well as the participating interview partners. During the interview we would like to learn more about your personality, skills, and qualifications. You will also have the opportunity to ask your questions and get to know us as an employer. Afterwards, we will take a maximum of 1-2 weeks to reflect on the results and impressions from the interview and come back to you with feedback.
 

How does the further application process look like after the first interview?

If your first interview is successful, we will invite you to another personal interview on site. In this interview, we will get to know each other personally and you will gain insights into our offices, the atmosphere, and the people who work at cosnova. After your second interview, we will take 1-2 weeks and get back to you with our decision. If both sides would like to work together, we will prepare your employment contract.
 

How can I prepare for an interview?

Your application documents have convinced us and thus you have already taken the first hurdle. Now we would like to get to know you better. Before the interview, take a look at our company homepage or visit one of our retailers to take a closer look at our essence and Catrice brands.
In the personal interview, which is usually attended by the HR department and the specialist department together, we would like to enter into a dialog with you. We will therefore talk more intensively about your professional career, milestones in your life, your skills, and qualifications and, of course, give you more information about the advertised position and about us as an employer. So, feel free to ask us any questions you may have.
 

How does the application process for an internship / working student job look like?

The interview takes place with the responsible department either in person on site or virtually via MS Teams. During the interview, we would like to learn more about your personality, your interests, and your practical knowledge. Of course, you will also have the opportunity to ask your questions and get to know us as an employer. After your first interview, we will take a maximum of 1-2 weeks to reflect on the results and impressions and come back to you with feedback.
 

Is an internship at cosnova also compensated?

You will receive a salary for your internship and furthermore enjoy other benefits of our company (e.g. job ticket, subsidized lunch, or free drinks). You can find all our open internship positions on our online application portal.
 

What happens to my data?

By entering and submitting your data, it will automatically be stored in our application process database. The data will be deleted no later than 6 months after the end of the application process. You can read more details in the privacy policy.
 

How do I not miss any newly posted vacancies?

Register for our job alert. You will then be automatically notified via email as soon as a new job offer appears that matches your search specifications.
 

How do you dress at cosnova?

Above all, our employees should feel comfortable and can wear whatever they like. For external appointments, we naturally assume that everyone dresses appropriately for their function as well as the occasion.
 

How does the office space at cosnova look like?

We attach great importance to personal exchange and have therefore adapted our working environment to our way of working. Through team offices (open office) we create a good basis for personal exchange and collaboration. In addition, we have a wide variety of co-working spaces and rooms that can be used for a wide range of teamwork or cross-functional work. Of course, there are also retreats for confidential discussions or concentrated work.
 

Is there a canteen at cosnova?

We call our canteen the Lounge. There you can enjoy a choice of 2-3 freshly prepared lunches and a salad buffet every day. There is also always a vegan option. Hot and cold drinks are available free of charge both, in the lounge and in the kitchens on our floors. Twice a week, we are also supplied with fresh fruit.
 

Does cosnova also offer mobile work?

You can also work mobile from home with us. This is possible up to 3 days a week. At the same time, personal exchange is an essential part of our corporate culture. Feel free to ask in the interview what the possibilities are for your role.
