Your job:

  • Assessment and posting of ongoing business transactions in fixed asset accounting (additions, disposals, repostings, capitalizations) in SAP AA
  • Assessment and posting of ongoing business transactions in general ledger accounting (month end and year end, accounts receivables, investments, and loans) in SAP FI
  • Activation of two major construction projects, differentiation between investment and maintenance costs, determination of asset classes and useful lives, creation of the asset grid, support of the asset inventory and booking of the resulting depreciation
  • You advise and support internal departments on all issues relating to fixed assets and are the contact person for auditors, project managers and controlling
  • You design and optimize processes in your area of responsibility and support the implementation of asset accounting requirements in projects (e.g. S/4HANA)


  • Qualification as a certified accountant for German GAAP (Bilanzbuchhalter) or an alternative qualification
  • At least 5 years relevant working experience in fixed asset accounting
  • Solid knowledge of and experience with German GAAP, knowledge of IFRS would be beneficial
  • Excellent analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented way of working
  • Motivated for new and demanding tasks with autonomy, accountability, and the ability to work in a team
  • Solid Excel-skills and SAP-knowledge (FI/AA) are mandatory
  • Proficiency in English, further languages are an advantage
