Role and mission:

In this exciting leadership position, based at our HQ in Sulzbach, the Director Digital Brand and Community Experience will play a key role to drive the change process to an experience driven digital marketing unit, leveraging essence / Catrice to deliver a best-in-class digital brand and community experience on all relevant touchpoints of the digital ecosystem: owned and earned - always maintaining a consumer first approach.
Due to the people and organisational leadership as well as close alignment with the cosnova board, an office presence of at least 2-3 days during the week is required.

Your role & responsibilities:

  • In close collaboration with the CXO, the CMO and Marketing stakeholders develop, support and activate all relevant (brand) marketing experiences within the digital ecosystem focusing on awareness and engagement
  • Define strategies and activation to expand our digital ecosystem and reach new audiences and new communities – helping to create global brand visibility
  • Continue to develop our current Metaverse/Roblox experience further as well as our Twitch activations, making them internationally scalable and impactful
  • Establish long-term relationships with Meta, Snap, TikTok, Google to test betas and create out-of-the-box and innovative experiences on the respective platforms
  • Build a very creative, forward thinking and cutting-edge digital team that constantly explores new frontiers.
  • Make sure the team is at the forefront on every relevant digital marketing development and technology.
  • Strongly drive Gen_AI internally, give guidance and challenge current strategy and set up and help implement a strategic ambition within the (international) organization.
  • Together with Innovation / Brands evaluate current and future set up of digital products and services
  • Develop a network of external partners who help us expand our platform ecosystem, how to tap into new communities, audiences, how to creatively design new experiences
  • Make sure the team is at the forefront on every relevant digital marketing development and technology.
  • Strongly drive Gen_AI internally, give guidance and challenge current strategy and set up and help implement a strategic ambition within the (international) organization.
  • Together with Innovation / Brands evaluate current and future set up of digital products and services
  • Develop a network of external partners who help us expanding our platform ecosystem, how to tap into new communities, audiences, how to creatively design new experiences

Your profile:

  • 10-15 years of experience in digital, digital marketing and/or brand experience, preferably in the beauty industry
  • You have experience in the strategic conception, implementation, and management of digital projects, concepts, and initiatives
  • You are familiar with new technologies (e.g., Gen_AI) and have a strong understanding of (innovative) digital products
  • You are a leader by passion, having successfully led and developed teams, demonstrating a pronounced ability for "people leadership"
  • You are characterized by entrepreneurial thinking and a great passion for making an impact, taking the company to the next level, with a high tolerance for uncertainties and rapid changes in direction
  • English fluent, German is an advantage and a plus
