Head of Quality Assurance (m/w/d) - temporary 2 Years

Fulfilling responsibilities. A team that inspires.
- Technical and disciplinary management of the Quality Assurance Services division, including budget responsibility
- Overall responsibility for central QA services such as stability and compatibility testing, incoming goods inspections, and complaint management
- Strategic development of the QA Services division and continuous optimization of structures, processes, and procedures
- Management and prioritization of QA-specific and cross-functional projects for the further development of processes, tools, and organizational structures
- Leadership, development, and coaching of employees, including structured training of new team members
- Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders and representation of the department in cross-departmental projects and committees
- Management of critical cases, escalations, and crises, including risk analyses and derivation of appropriate measures
- Central contact person for the external microbiological institute
- Regular reporting to the Director of QA and management

- Completed degree in natural sciences (e.g., chemistry, food chemistry, biology) or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in quality assurance, ideally in the cosmetics or consumer goods industry, including in-depth knowledge of key QA processes (stability/compatibility testing, incoming goods inspections, complaint and deviation management)
- Several years of management experience with disciplinary responsibility as well as budget and resource responsibility
- Very good knowledge of relevant quality and product safety requirements (including EU Cosmetics Regulation, GMP-related processes, ISO standards)
- Experience in the strategic development of QA organizations and in the optimization of processes, structures, and procedures
- Routine in the management of quality-related risks, crises, and escalations in complex, cross-functional environments
- Very good communication and stakeholder management skills (internal/external, including testing institutes) and very good German and English language skills
- Strong leadership personality with strategic thinking skills, high implementation strength, decision-making ability under pressure, and a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
