Your job:
- In this role, you actively shape financial processes within the SAP-FI environment – from requirements gathering to conceptualization, testing, implementation, and optimization
- You lead or support international rollouts of existing and new finance-related IT tools across group companies with strategic foresight
- As a key point of contact, you advise departments and subsidiaries on SAP application and financial process-related inquiries
- You contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB, and take responsibility for general ledger accounting for several group companies
- Acting as a sparring partner between SAP Inhouse Consultants and end users, you ensure that requirements are implemented efficiently
- You bring your expertise to global rollouts of new systems, such as SAP S/4HANA, or new functions as part of the project and rollout teams
- You document and update financial processes as part of the Finance Manual, providing a reliable foundation for all stakeholders
- Additionally, you provide support in key areas such as asset accounting, payment transactions, and intercompany reconciliation, ensuring smooth operations
Your profile:
- You have several years of experience in operational accounting and as an SAP-FI Key User in a company with corporate structures
- You have project experience, which you have successfully managed and completed thanks to your strong IT affinity and hands-on mentality
- Ideally, you are also already familiar with SAP-MM or SAP-SD
- You have solid foundational knowledge of accounting under HGB (German Commercial Code)
- With your quick comprehension skills and strong analytical thinking, you are able to understand complex situations quickly, translate them into processes, and communicate them effectively
- Your pragmatic working style is characterized by diligence, structure, and goal orientation
- As a team player, you bring excellent communication and presentation skills
- Your German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are fluent, and you enjoy working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- You are open to occasional (international) business travel and can accommodate such trips
