Responsibilities:

  • Independent support and handling of day-to-day operations with the retail centers (purchasing) and predominantly individual stores (focus on hypermarkets) in Germany:
  • Organization of new store openings: e.g. arranging appointments with the customer as well as the sales force agency, counter availability check
  • Creation of listing data as well as customer-specific files
  • Preparation and implementation of assortment changes: control out of ex-items, control in of new items, remaining stock management, etc.
  • Supporting the responsible key account manager in day-to-day business and jointly carrying out customer visits 
  • Management of the field sales agency with regard to the retail partners to be supported: sales cost analysis, detailed consideration of individual markets, complaints management, etc.
  • Supervision of internal cross-functional or cross-customer projects such as counter exchange, process optimization etc.
  • Interface and close cooperation with all related internal departments, in particular the order department, POS management and logistics
 

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed commercial training
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in internal sales or in a comparable position, ideally in the consumer goods and/or food retail sector
  • Familiarity with MS Office, in particular very good knowledge of Excel, ideally also knowledge of SAP
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Quick comprehension, analytical disposition and affinity for numbers
  • Solution-oriented work
  • Ability to work under pressure, ability to work in a team, initiative and enjoy customer contact
