The position is in the Data Analytics and Engineering team, which is responsible for providing Data Science, Data Analytics and Data Management to the whole company enabling easy data driven decision making to all relevant business stakeholders by providing actionable insights.

- Technical and conceptional ownership of the cosnova data platform from development to provisioning to maintenance
- build, automate and optimize data processing pipelines and storage for data integration and data driven solutions (streaming and batch data)
- interface with internal data providers and technical teams to build an efficient data platform as single source of truth for the company
- collaborate with external service providers to develop the data backbone of the AI platform
- Create valuable data products to address business needs
- support Business Analysts, Data Analysts and Scientists to deliver algorithmic data products
- Ensure scalability of the data platform with focus on data availability and quality
- Implement data governance measures
- Extent the data strategy and the technology stack to react to business requirements and changes in the market

- A completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical field
- 7+ years of experience in designing, building, and operating modern, cloud-based data platforms in complex enterprise environments as a (Senior) Data Engineer or Data Architect
- In-depth expertise in data modeling and architecture (e.g., Data Vault 2.0, Modern Data Warehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric)
- Experience in designing scalable end-to-end data pipelines (batch and streaming)
- Excellent programming skills in Python and SQL, complemented by hands-on experience with modern orchestration and workflow tools
- Solid knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases, combined with strong architectural understanding
- Fluent English skills are required; German skills are a plus
